I recently developed PreDB 2000, a website inspired by Shodan’s “Shodan 2000” that showcases the latest warez scene releases. I built PreDB 2000 using SvelteKit for the frontend framework along with Tailwind CSS for styling and Three.js specifically for the 3D background visualizations.

The goal of PreDB 2000 is to provide an interactive way for people to explore and discover the newest cracks, keygens, and pirated software being released by various warez groups. It pulls real-time data directly from predb.net to showcase the most up-to-date scene announcements.

Built With SvelteKit, TailwindCSS, Three.js

I chose to build PreDB 2000 with SvelteKit because it’s a speedy and enjoyable frontend framework for building web applications. Combined with the rapid styling capabilities of Tailwind CSS, these technologies allowed me to focus on creating engaging data representations.

I leveraged Three.js specifically for creating the 80s-inspired 3D grid background visualizations. This dynamic backdrop complements the real-time data without overburdening the overall application.

Real-time Warez Release Tracker

At its core, PreDB 2000 displays the newest warez releases as they emerge from the scene by using the predb.net api.
