I’m excited to share the story behind my website, a project where I mixed my love for design with some cool tech. Inspired by the work of others on Dribbble and Behance, I set out to create a space that’s all about showcasing what I love to do with a sprinkle of innovation.

The Tech Behind the Magic

I built my website using SvelteKit and TailwindCSS. Why? Because they’re like the dynamic web development duo, SvelteKit brings the magic of reactivity and component-based architecture, while Tailwind CSS handles the styling with its super handy utility-first approach. Together, they made my design dreams come true.

For the blog, where I yap about my latest projects and thoughts, I went with mdsvex. It lets me write posts in markdown (which is super straightforward) and then magically turns them into beautiful web pages.

Picture Perfect and Video Vibes

I love speed and I love quality so I opted for the AV1 video format and AVIF and WEBP formats for images. Not only do they look fantastic, but they also load super fast, making sure everyone gets the best experience without the wait.

Making It Live

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Page, giving everyone a smooth, speedy visit no matter where they are in the world.

Cleanup

I’ll admit, some parts of the code got a bit repetitive. I’m in the process of tidying things up to make everything sleeker and more efficient before I share the code with the world.
